I know nothing about how the regulators would work, but would this have the effect of the hdd not working on the primary slave but working fine when on a different controller?
Also i doubt it's the powersupply but:
1st one i had was an Aopen 250 Watt (Probably borderline...)
The one i have now is a 300Watt Seventeam Powersupply (I think this is powerfull enough)
And my freinds 400 watt that i tested was a Ledman (I'm very sure that it is more than powerfull enough...)
Another thing that i'm sure means it's not the power supply is when i am useing it on the HPT it works fine, To me that means it has something to do with the controller but i'll admit i dont have any prior experince with this type of problem...
