It can and it will...even though the 350 worked fine. Does your mainboard bios have a temp setting you can check to see how hot is is? If not...put your finger along the bottom of the heatsink and run it along the cpu and if it pretty warm..then you can bet your cpu is running hot. Also...did you put heatsink compound on it before you installed it?
