I had a problem with my Pioneer DVD Drive and the game until they patched it. It would appear to lock up but if you waited long enough, usually after 5 Minutes(Not Exagerated) the game would finish loading the game or quit to the desktop if I was trying to quit. Do you have the newest patch for Diablo 2?
