the difference between the two would be minimal at best.. if what u had was a k6'3... u have a k6'2... k6'3 didnt start until 450mhz... the p3 has better floating point performance then the amd.. meaning better gaming performance.... not to mention the p2 300 is extremely overclockable... i had one that ran at 450 without a hitch...unless u got the p3 300 for about FREE u didnt get a deal.. u can get a duron for under 50 bucks... just some food for thought.
