440LX board with 540mhz celeron What next???

CPU TYPE:

INTEL-Celeron

INITIAL CPU SPEED
500 MHz

COOLING METHOD
card cooler xt (twin sunnon 90mm sunnon fans) lol

FINAL CPU SPEED
540 MHz

CPU SPEED PERFORMANCE AFTER OVERCLOCK: 108%

way back in sept 1997 I got the first Pentium 2 233 on a intel al440lx motherboard. Since then contrary to what intel says i`ve put a celeron 500 on a ppga card onto my motherboard and with soft fsb overclocked it to 540, where its rock solid. Now Intel has brought out the 766 celeron I`m wondering weather or not its worth trying to replace my celeron 500 with one of those beauties....? just think a 72mhz fsb resulting in a cheap 828mhz system eh? Intels line is that the lx chipset won`t go further than a multiplier of 5, however if my 500 is on a 7.5 multiplier, i personally can`t see why a 766 at 11.5 won`t work.....Personally i think the multiplier clock has nothing at all to do with the motherboard and if 7.5 works 11.5 will.... Anybody with any idea`s ?
